Booking Conditions

  • A provisional booking will be held for 14 days, after which time the reservation will be released if a deposit has not been received
  • An initial non-returnable deposit of £500 is required to secure your booking
  • Menus and final arrangements must be confirmed 6 weeks prior to your wedding day
  • Full payment of the estimated invoice is required 21 days in advance
  • Children under 4 are free of charge. Children aged 4-12 years are charged at half the adult price based on the adult's menu (or see alternative children's menu)

Terms and Conditions

1. Confirmation by Client

A provisional booking is normally held for 14 days unless alternative arrangements have been made. A provisional booking puts neither party under obligation to confirm the function. The booking will be released unless we hear from you within 14 days of provisional booking.

2. Deposit and Payments

Minimum Deposit of £500 is required to confirm the booking which is non refundable and non transferable. Final details will be done 6 weeks before the wedding and final payment is due 21 days prior to the wedding.

3. Cancellation Charges

In the In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel part or postpone your confirmed booking at any time prior to yo to your event, the venue will make every effort to resell the space on your behalf. However we do reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee against the total contracted business according to notice received:

  • Within 6-9 months: 50% chargeable of total net value
  • Within 3-6 months: 75% chargeable of total net value
  • Within 0-3 months: 90% chargeable of total net value

Cancellation, Postponement or partial cancellation should be advised to the hotel at the first instance verbally, followed by written confirmation.

4. Number of Guests

At the time of confirming your booking with a deposit, the venue will be notified of approximate numbers of guests expected to attend all functions. Final numbers of guests should be confirmed with final details 6 weeks prior to the event. Wedding receptions must consist of both a day and evening function consisting of minimum numbers according to each venue will apply.

5. Loss and Damage

Damage to the property of the venue will be charged to the organiser of the function when the damage occurs. Charges will be made to replace any damaged article and any labour costs to repair the property

6. Miscellaneous

The venue is entitled to amend the contract without obligation or not to pay compensation of any kind by reason of Strike, Fire, or flood Restrictions of deliveries or other special circumstances beyond the control of the hotel.

8. Fireworks

Please note that Fireworks of any description are banned within the grounds of each venue unless done by a pyrotechnic company with relevant insurances.

9. Liability

As party organisers you will be solely responsible and liable for any damage to property / personal injury, also any fines Ifines imposed upon us by the local authority if such a breach did occur under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (1990 (noise abatement order) maximum fine £20,000. The client is advisable to consider arranging insurance for the function covering public liability and loss or damage to its property and that of persons attending the function.

10. Clients use of the Venues

The client or persons attending the function must:

  • Comply with all licensing health and safety and other regulations relating to the venue
  • Not carry out any electrical or other works at the hotel including amplification and lighting without the venues prior written consent
  • Not bring any dangerous or hazardous items to the venue and remove any such items promptly when requested to do to so by a member of the management team.
  • Not to consume any food or drink on the premises not supplied by the venue.
  • Not act in an improper or disorderly manner, leave promptly at the appropriate time and comply with any reasonable requests by hotel employees
  • Obtain approval from the  management for any decorations or displays brought into the venue. It is our policy that any items may not be attached to any fixed walls with nails, staples, tape or any other substance. The event shall terminate at the time stated. Any person or item in breach of these conditions may be refused admission to or be removed from the hotel

11. Final Payment

Is due Is due 21 days prior to the wedding date. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card.
